THE SMALL GARDEN

by SONIA WENTSER
Inspired by a photo of timid flowers grown in my garden, this small painting is made out of variety of feathers.

Heron feathers underline the boards of the fence in background.
Grass and stems are made of heron feathers as well combined to hackle.
Swan feathers give to the petals their soft and light look while pheasant feathers brighten the heart of flowers.

This combination illustrates one of the essential characteristic of this Art:Knowledge of feathers !
